    Help me identify this CPU

Hi everyone, can some one help me identify this Intel CPU? It was sent ot me from Intel and was not marked as it is not a retail CPU. I can find a page that lists the part number, but it is Russian or something! I will list the numbers below, all help is appricated.

    Intel Confidential
    QFEG ES A4
    '04 HH80551PG0881M
    V519561C

The Intel PR guy told me it was a P4 Extreme Edition Dual Core but it is not marked, and the board they sent along with it is not the one we talked about. I am wondering if they shipped something else.

The only pages I could find with those numbers were probably the same ones you found, but in each, the word "Smithfield" was used, which is the name given to the dual core P4 EEs.

Oh, and because it says "Intel Confidential" on the processor, it is just a pre-production model, or engineering sample. So no, it isn't a retail chip. And the engineering sample chips use a different product numbering sequence, which is why there is probably little to no information online listing those numbers.

Thanks for the quick responses guys. I was hoping the CPU at least was the correct one. I had asked for a board to go with it that would support SLI setup, but the one he sent (D945Pvs) only has one 16x pci express slot. I guess beggars can't be choosers. I will just have to find a suitable board.

Now if I can just get BFG to send me the two Nvidia 7800 gtx's I am in business! Not sure what I will do with the intel board.
