    Cool

man, can't you post your threads in the right forum? This is the ASP forum & should have only ASP related threads. Your ASP.NET & other .NET related threads belong in the .NET Forum.

I see that this question was never really answered. I'm wondering the same thing.

I've got a solid eCommerce app myself and a few co-workers developed in ASP 3.0 a few years back. It works like a charm, but as we look to add new features, I'm faced with the three-pronged question:

    1. Should we convert to ASP.NET?

    2. Should we just keep plugging along with ASP?

    3. Should we look for an open source ASP.NET app that might already have some of the features we're looking to develop (inventory control, related items, up-selling, customer reviews, wish lists, etc. All the "bells and whistles")?

Thus far I haven't found much in the way of open source ASP.NET ecommerce apps. Microsoft has the starter kit, but it is extremely "bare bones".

Any others out there? Is there an osCommerce equivelant in .NET?

Most product made for .Net cost money. (surprising )

Unless the site needs a performance over haul I would just leave it for now. "don't fix it, if it ain't broken" But if you have the time, go for it.
