Anyone know what that car with the funny doors was in the Matrix? - was it a Lincoln Continental? - how much do they go for?

Can't help you with what type of car yet (I'm working on that as we speak), however those "funny doors" are known as suicide doors. You know -- just for future reference.... =)

I thought they might be called that (the doors) - didn't want to look like a spoon if I got it wrong though!

They are called suicide doors. They are also present in Animal House, if I remember correctly. I believe it was a Lincoln Continental. Not sure of the year though, but Im fairly certain it was in the '60's

Ah...you mean the car that had doors facing each other? That was pretty cool. They are indeed caled Suicide Doors.

That would be a pretty cool name for a band.

This article (http://www.automfg.com/articles/030102.html) says that Suicide Doors are coming back into style (because of the Matrix I would bet). That story says that TEN of the concept cars shown at the North American International Auto Show had them. Pretty cool eh?
