Wanted: good, free textarea replacement 'WYSIWYG' app

    Hi,

Not strictly an ASP question, but it's for an ASP-based content management system:

I'm looking for a good, free textarea replacement application which creates a WYSIWYG interface from form textareas. I have used HTMLArea in the past but it only works on IE6 (not Firefox or Safari, which I really need).

Does anyone know of such a thing?

    Thanks...

    TinyMCE

I also used to use HTMLArea, and like you needed something that worked in browsers like Firefox. TinyMCE does just that

Looks perfect. I might need to get delete-happy with some of the 300+ files, but initially looks great! Thanks very much.

No probs. Plus the great thing is - you can completely customise it...but that would add even more files

    Cool

Since you are doing an ASP application, you can take a look at Web Wiz Rich Text Editor which is done in ASP and has some server side features as well, like file & image browser etc.
