MSN Messenger question...

I've seen people talk to me while they appear offline.

Is there a certain plugin used to do this? I've searched and searched and I can't seem to find one.

I have seen that before, and I have asked my friends how they can be offline and still talk to me, I believe that it is just a problem with MSN or something like that. Although I'm not to sure, there could be a plug, I trust you have already looked at http://www.mess.be and http://www.msgplus.net ?
