Migrating Blogs

I have 1 blog engine (called bloq) but now I want to migrate to Wordpress which is a more mature blog engine. My question is how to do this database migration from the bloq mysql template to the wordpress mysql structure.

Is there a way I can do this on an easy way?

Is there an way I can remap the way I want to consolidate the old db with the new one?

Should I even look into XML to abstract the content?

Have a search on the wordpress website and in the forums for a script to import the data into wordpress - an import script would certainly be the easiest way to move your data across.
