    deleted folder problem

We have a system on Windows XP

One of the folder on system , somehow deleted unconciously by someone from the staff ..

the folder was stuffed with important info ..

Can we retrive the folder again ,

unformtunatly we dont have any back up nor any restore point was established on the system restore ..

is it possible or any way to get the data back ..

    Please suggest

There are a lot of deleted file recovery utils available. Most important thing is to not use the computer for anything untill you retrieved your documents. When deleting stuff from your harddisk it isn't realy deleted but the disk space is just marked as being free. As long as you don't write any new data to the disk your deleted data will still be there (you just don't see it) and can be recovered

Did you look in the recycle bin? BTW, system restore will not restore data. It only restores system info. Backup, backlup, backup.
