    Question PHP & WML - How to start

    Hi All,
    I want to see my website in a hand held device say a mobile phone.
    I want to use php and ofcourse wml, but i don't know how to start..i know a bit of wml, not much.

    PHP and WML

    Here's a good tutorial that I used - http://www.zend.com/zend/tut/wap.php , and it works! - http://www.mittineague.com/wildflowers.wml
    (at least in Opera's "small" mode, I don't have a hand-held )

    That's interesting mudshark, it doesn't talk about how you would detect a "mobile user" though. If you don't know if a user is going to be coming in from a hand-held or a desktop how could you detect it?

    Well the guy who wrote the article does it like this:
    I have added a “Mobile Version” link to my selection of themes in the sidebar, but you could just as easily write a snippet of javascript to automatically send people with screen resolutions of less than 640x480 or certain known wireless user agents to your lite site.
