Dlink 108mbs with 3com 108mbs wireless?

Hi, I`m wondering if anyone know if a Dlink gateway 108Mbs works with a 3Com 108Mbs card? They both utelize Super-G technology to get it from a theoretical 54Mbs to 108Mbs, but it is a bit unclear if they can speak with each other. Anyone know about this?

As far as i've heard; because 108mbs is not a Wi-Fi standard, they are not fully compatible across manufacturers. You should just e-mail one of the manufacturers and ask.

Yeah, I might if no one here knows. But they use the same name for it, not like Linksys or SMC.

some of the 108 D-link dongles work perfectly with a netgear DS834GT , and some of the 108Mb netgear dongles work perfectly with the 3Com. Not tested 3Com with D-link, but i would assume they are also compatible.

Just found out that Super-G is an Atheros technology, so they will likely interoperate. Sent Atheros a mail to be sure.
