text attribute has a problem in Firefox.

For a family history site I used the title attribute, as described in

    http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/stru...l.html#h-7.4.3

So that when the mouse is over a face in an imagemap of the whole family in 1923, a title box pops up with a brief history of that person.(Clicking the face goes to a full .html page on them).

In IE the title text, if long, wraps after every 50(?) characters and forms several lines in a box that stays on the screen, but in Firefox the text appears as one long line and if it reaches the edge is truncated at the right hand side of the screen.

So, though I hate to say it, it looks like IE is using the title attribute 'better' than Firefox. Is there a way to put CR(s) in long title attribute text, that will cause Firefox to keep it in on screen in a multi line box?

    Thanks.

Maybe you could use css to do it instead (example).
