Befor adding a lot of images, create a simple layout, select 2-3 colors you want to use on the site.

I love the placement of that 404 Error: Page not Found. It really accentuates the black text on the white background.

It would help if you could give a little info with regard to what the site is for. What does the company you work for do exactly?

Jeremy, if you're wanting email, I can spam you with loads of the stuff if you like

    I've seen worse!

Awww come on you guys, I've seen websites that make this one look stunning!

dhtmlgod, you really should consider taking on the project again, just look at all the design experience you'll gain. Plus, now that you're a member at SitePoint, you'll get other design-minded members to help you when you need it! If you don't already know, webmasterbase.com has heaps of tutorials and articles to help you become a better webmaster.

If you need some help as far as design is concerned, pick up a book on web design color and theory, or find one with examples of well-designed sites. You can find things like this online for free at places like coolhomepages.com and webdesign.about.com . They'll give you inspiration and ideas to think about, but if you really want to become a great designer, you need to practice! Great graphics skills won't come to you overnight, but the more you learn, the better you'll be..just like with coding.

    Now go get that project!

    Hey, I love your images!
With just those 3 images, you could create a stunning web design! Go on and try like what Sparkie said. I learn best form experience, and you should too at least.

You're never going to learn anything without attempting it first.

Yeah, you guys were being a little rough on him. I know he was being rough on himself. You never know those images may make a good start to the background etc...

I would give it more time and design, design, design, that's the way to learn and the only way really be sure that you can't design!!!
