    Splitting a file.

I want to split my 780 mb AVI file into two smaller chunks so that I can burn them both to different CDs.(I don't have a DVD burner/writer ) How would I go about doing this? What program would I have to download to do this?

I have been using HJ Split for years, it's not the prettiest thing in the world but it always gets the job done

You should be able to use MovieMaker to do this as well.

You can also use VirtualDub, and I happened to find a guide for this also.

Heh, I missed the "AVI" part of the post, I was thinking it was just a large ISO or something. Since you're wanting to split a movie, I would definitely recommend Virtual Dub
