I was just curious seeing how everyone here is talking about everything? I was wondering who do you hate? who well really makes you mad or you just plan do not like the way they look or act? It can be anybody who cares just tell us why you hate them who do I hate?

I hate This new boy band called "Dream Street" ( http://www.dreamstreet.com )
Why? I am not a boyband hater infact I like the BackStreet Boys and I am a guy I am listening to them right now but this boyband is so well stupid, annoying, Markete,d fake, stupid (I know I said stupid twice) and idiotic if you have seen their video you will know that they are the 5 most gay thirteen year olds on the planet

Tell me who you hate besides me everyone hates me even the Sitepoint Mentors ha ha ha.......

Hate is a very strong word (and emotion). Do you really HATE "Dream Street" or do you just dislike them?

I can't think of anybody that I hate, but in general I dislike hateful people...

While I don't believe I absolutely *hate* anyone in the strict sense of the word, I really, really, really dislike our un-esteemed president, George W. I mean, he just radiates stupidity to me. You'd think he'd have some priorities to help, yet instead he's controlled by the big companies. Hence why he's so hellbent on big oil and utilizing more fossil fuels for our "power crisis" instead of researching new fuels and power sources. ::sigh:: The only way anything is getting done is by third party people who actually care. Back to stupidity -- how does a man who scored something like a 12 on the ACT get admitted to Harvard? -- or Yale for that matter? -- but with his parents, I suppose anything is possible. Reminds me of Legally Blond, except that Elle Woods actually had something to contribute to the school....

Superharris, this isn't meant bitterly or strictly towards you -- indeed I hear it everywhere. However, do you have any conclusive evidence that they are actually gay? Because, using that term irritates me and other people I'm sure. How about voicing your opinion instead with "stupid" or something similar?

This post was not meant to hurt anyone it is just for fun cut loose for a bit of time stop worring who you are going to hurt maybe it is just the age difference who knows? about AES asking me if I knew if they were gay yes THEY MAN HANDLED me it was very very traumatic! Besides when I say "gay" as most know it does not represent a gay guy period it is how someone asks if someone acts sterotypically as a gay guy would then I would probably assume they are gay and no my assumption are never wrong and AES are you a lesbian (oh that is going to get me the boot on sitepoint I should kiss my membership GOODBYE)

Haha. I know what you meant -- I was simply making a point.... Now I'm being attacked -- how very interesting ... pehaps I'm just secure enough in my orientation to point out controversal things that bother me. By the way, is it possible for a male to be a lesbian?

Well... I read your first name it was "Colin" so I assumed you were a woman! and you also did not agree with my view of gays so I then assumed you were a well homosexual is that nice enough?

Hmmm.... Where I come from, Colin is a male name -- but I suppose there may be some female Colin's out there ... right? So now because I don't agree with your views, I'm gay? Wow. This is a living testament to the biggotry which has become so rampant and commonplace in our society ... ::sigh::

I read your PC post. Political correctness is good, I think, to a degree. But don't worry about your incorrect assumption though -- best to take it in stride ... as they say, "it's all good."

I hate (well, not hate, but you know what I mean)
    • New York Yankee fans.
    • Jakob Nielsen.
    • People who can't stand to be questioned.
    • People who have a sense of entitlement.
    • People who label mindlessly.
    • People who think that hard work is bad for you.
    • People who dodge questions.
    • People who don't like babies.
    • People who don't think it's important to think about life, origins, and various other philosophical things. I think it's the most important thing.
    • People who do not respect hard working people, like police officers, fire fighters, and construction workers.
    • People who lack respect for our soliders, or burn our flag. It's a slap in their face.
    • Processed Sugar. Ugh.

I'm sure someone will be ticked off by this. Sorry in advance.

I'm not saying that Dreamstreet is gay (and why aren't the mods getting in this at all..?) although I heard them a few times on the radio and thought they were girls from the sound of their voices.

    Lets see..

    I don't like..

    - People who take advantage of other people
    - Jakob Nielsen also..

    and that's about it...

I just saw a commercial for DreamStreet on TV the other day and was expecting the Energizer Bunny to step in at any moment...

For the longest time, I thought the lead singer of Hanson was a girl!

I don't really hate anyone or anything, but in case you're curious, I do dislike some things:

    - People who are cruel to animals
    - People who think that everything should be handed to them on a silver platter.
    - Telemarketers
    - Country music
    - Cigarette smoke
    - Mushrooms

    I strongly dislike (not hate):
    • People who hate Jakob Nielsen
    • Webpages designed completely with Flash
    • People who have modems and whine about their slow connection
    • People who have a fast connection and brag about it
    • People who have Dual 1.3GHz Athlons and 32MB PC66 DRAM spread across 16 DIMMs
    • Linux
    • Apache
    • The colors red, yellow, and #CCCCCC

    Contradicting yourself, qslack?

    * People who don't like babies.

I don't like babies. Seriously. Bite me

    I dislike people who:

    - don't show any sign of intelligence and curiosity (in science);
    - show blind faith. Faith is ok, but blind faith equals narrow-mindedness, and in some cases even closed-mindedness. Note: blind faith is not limited to religion, just look it up in the dictionary.

Ok, I should rephrase that. Perhaps it should be "People who have some odd reason to dislike babies", or something of the sort. People who are thoroughly annoyed by them. I think babies are adorable in most cases. I love being around them. How can you not like babies?

How much of your faith in science is blind? What is blind faith? How do you know when something is "blind" faith as opposed to normal faith?

Narrow mindedness? I believe Milan Kundera summed it up best when he wrote that "Narrowmindedness is being certain you're right". Of course, at some point this breaks down... as I am not certain that statement is correct. Is your assertion that "blind faith equals narrow-mindedness" itself based on blind faith?

I believe (perhaps blindly) that your equating blind faith with narrowmindedness is what I call a "complex equivalency", which is a type of belief. I also believe that believing is seeing rather than the old seeing is believing. Whatever your beliefs are determine what you notice in the world. So, I just have this question. How do you know that blind faith equals narrowmindedness?

    ................

Let me make sure I'm on topic.. heh.
