    What's your personality type?

    Find out here: http://tools.monster.com/perfectcareer/

    I'm an INFP, what are you?

    Life as an INFP
    (Intravert, Intuitive, Feeler, Perceiver)

    People of this type tend to be quiet, reserved and kind; deeply passionate, sensitive and easily hurt; loving and dedicated to those close to them; creative, original and imaginative; curious and flexible in small matters; nonconforming.

    The most important thing to INFPs are their deeply held beliefs and living in harmony with their values.

    I like the below description from another site better. It seems to be more accurate. If you want more info about your personality type, I suggest you go there as well to get a full perspective. Plus they list many more careers. I have a feeling a lot of us will be INFPs because one of the careers listed is "desktop publisher."

    http://www.bsu.edu/students/careers/...-23857,00.html

    Focused on making the world a better place, the INFP personality is both idealist and perfectionist. INFPs possess strong value systems, are future-oriented, creative, and highly religious or philosophical individuals. Driven to meet the needs of others, INFPs tend to choose creative or human service oriented careers that allow them to use their instinctive sense of empathy and remarkable communication skills. INFPs represent 1% of the population. The following list represents some careers that may appeal to INFPs.

    Great careers for INFPs

    Here are just a few popular and often satisfying careers for people whose Personality Type is INFP:

    * Psychologist
    * Human resources professional
    * Physical therapist
    * Researcher
    * Translator / interpreter
    * Legal mediator
    * Employee development specialist
    * College professor: humanities
    * Massage therapist
    * Social worker
    * Librarian
    * Fashion designer
    * Editor / art director

    ------------------------------------------------------
    Everyone please post your results, I'm curious

    I'm an ISTJ (Introverted Sensing Thinking Judging). Took a similar test a few years ago, same results. It is almost scary how accurate it describes me:

    ISTJs have a practical and thoughtful approach to life. They see the world in terms of facts and realities, which they deal with in an objective and decisive manner. They are traditional in outlook and their lives are structured and orderly, since they value stability highly. ISTJs will go to great lengths to create and maintain physical and financial security. They are superb planners and organisers who are able to bring clarity and order to potentially chaotic situations. They are well informed and rarely speak without being sure of their facts. They hold clear and steadfast opinions as a result of applying logical criteria to both their knowledge and their experience.

    Their manner is cool, calm and collected, and though work is usually their top priority, once they have achieved their targets for the day they will schedule in time for relaxation and recreation.

    Entj

    Well, the test was interesting. The results do reflect some of my professional charistics in working with clients. Some of the choices were hard for me to make. Several catagories were so close that it was basicly a coin toss to decide.

    Here is a more detailed test with many questions, to possibly get a better idea of your personality. Although, I still got the same results taking this one with 72 questions.

    I got INFJ on Jeremy's test. Took the Meyers Briggs some years ago and found it hard to answer their questions. Quick and easy choices on the latter test.............It is correct since I was a Counselor in my other life. Still have a great deal of empathy for other people's problems.

    People of this type tend to be energetic, friendly and outspoken; productive, organized and efficient; realistic and sensible but often skeptical about new or untested ideas; honest and direct to the point of bluntness; quick decision makers, opinionated, traditional, serious and accountable. I knew there was a more detailed one, but I figured people wouldn't bother if they had to take a 72-question quiz. It's good to know that you ended up with the same result anyway though.

    Egor I never really was sure if I was an introvert or an extrovert. I could easily be both, that was my hardest decision to make on that short quiz. That personality also sounds a lot like me, if not more than the introvert version.

    Does the INFP sound like you at all?

    I notice that the majority of people on this board seem to be Introverts. That's kinda funny.

    ISFP
    Life as an ISFP
    (Introvert, Sensor, Feeler, Perceiver)
    People of this type tend to be kind, humble and highly empathetic; thoughtful, faithful and affectionate with those they know well; sensitive to criticism and easily hurt; quiet, soft-spoken and gentle; adaptable, responsive and curious; realistic and down to earth.

    The most important thing to ISFPs is feeling peaceful and harmonious with the people and places that matter most to them.
