My definition of a unique (per day) is the first visit only of a particular site on a particular day. Sometimes this may be influenced by http proxies that use multiple routes for one originating ip.

    1. average daily uniques - 10,000
    2. location on the web - www.btwracing.com
    3. operating online for - 2 years

It started out as a hobby and learning experience and quickly turned into something more. Now its my sole source of income. Granted I was never in it for the money and never will be and currently we are barely scraping by as we struggle to change our business model. However, its still the best job I have ever had. It keeps me at home with the wife and kiddies

I have a huge dedicated group of like minded followers. And the shared learning pool is something I could not do without.

I think my hits are mostly from me or people reviewing my site. Hopefully the number will slowly grow. I'm just glad to get the experience.

I disagree. I do this as my job, and I believe this is just the start even though I'm making 3x as much as a normal teenager (my age) who works for minimum wage at a hamburger joint (which most do). Just like when you're talking about hits...it's not how much time you put into it, it's how you use that time. I spend 30 minutes to an hours work on my website a day. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I am working about 7 hours a week, when most teenagers work 7 hours a day.

    Alan, I did say 'some'.

I understand that teenagers like (or even need) to make their own money. You do this via your website and obviously have it under control. Others will have too. But for some it's an obsession. They do nothing but build websites in attempt to make money to pay for their online time and as such have no life away from the pc. This is what I find a shame.

Yes, that is a shame. I try to use my time online wisely. The left over time I have is spent on reading articles and the like.
