Suggest Win+D, Ctrl + A, Enter, Enter. This, if the second enter is quick enough, will avoid the annoying "confirm shortcut delete" box.

The Caps lock key should be automatically disabled for all AOL users.

The most annoying key on my keyboard was the power key, which is in the upper right hand corner of the keyboard. I hold the keyboard in my lap to type and was forever bumping this key, which would proceed to shut down my computer which was a serious PITA! My solution was to super glue the key so that it couldn't get accidentally pressed.

I think the most worthless key is the "Enter" key. I don't know how many occasions there have been whereby I just don't know whether to press it or not...

Its not fair to blaime me for being indecisive, so lets just take it out on the key .

Honestly though, the most worthless button is the "increase volume" button. I have never used it! The sleep key comes in a close 2nd...

Just looking at my laptop keyboard now, and I would have to say that the arrow keys would have to be the most useless. Anyone agree?

Scroll lock. never touched it. Thats what a mouse wheel is for.

And the windows key I actually find usefull because I am lazy enough not to press the start button and sides, I have my toolbar minimised. why grab the mouse when you dont need to.

I looked long and hard on my PowerBook today and decided on the ~` key which is located beside the number 1 key. It's probably the least used. Oh that and F8.

Do you mean <Print Screen> button? Well... sometimes they can be useful in IDEs or computer games, i.e. it's quite convenient to assign/bind some action to one of these buttons which is much more accessible than alphanumeric buttons or 2/3-button shortcut

I just press <Insert> to overwrite the text. IMHO it's much faster

Agree, from usability point i would also left <Print Screen> and <Pause/Break> buttons only with some space between them

I never used <Windows> because i use mouse to navigate menus. IMHO it's also much faster than use keyboard or keyboard then mouse

I have these stupid keys labeled "Power" "sleep" "Wake up" "turbo" "key lock" and I never use them. The Insert key on mine is right next to the enter and right above the delete so it pisses me off quite a bit. I need a new keyboard!!!!!!!!

Turbo was... DOS days. Some apps needed to run at a certain speed (because they rely on cycle counts or something), so you'd need to turn "turbo" off so that it'd go to a standard speed (and with turbo on, all bets are off).

Some non-English keyboard layout use the right alt (AltGr) to switch to another set of characters. And AltGr is queivalent to Ctrl+Alt (in Windows atleast).
