That silly "Request a read reciept" popup when sending a PM is getting really annoying, and I commonly accidentally request one, when I don't want to (which, causes the reciever to be annoyed/think I don't trust them :P) is there any way I can disable that question?

The receiver doesn't know you're asking for a read receipt. I use read receipts all the time, not because I don't trust the person, but because I'd like to make sure they actually saw it, or if I should press the issue when I see them on MSN or something.
I agree I like the read reciept, it allows me to see when and if the user has recieved the PM, that way I know if they may still respond back when they do see it or if they have read it and I have receved no response then I move on.
