I have a site where the name gets filtered out to *****
it's the bast**d word
It isn't offensive, doesn't contain p*rn or anything like that.
Is there Any way I can post it in my signature? (<Advisor edit>Please no swearing. -Helge</advisor edit>, I can't even send it in private messages).

Yet somehow they are not offended by a several hundred post thread on "when did you lose your virginity?"
I would say decision on what to star out and what not are the sole judgement of the Sitepoint staff. I wouldn't count on on anything to change, if they make an exception for you with this word then someone else will come along to have another word on the 'black list' allowed.

may be this topic is offensive too for kids but the word you've in ur URL is also offensive IMHO
Oh come on, sex is not a taboo subject. Haven't we grown out of that as a society yet? I don't know about you but we're taught about sex in the UK before puberty even kicks in. Kids know what sex is, how to have sex, and the necessary precautions. It's nothing to be ashamed of, or be embarassed to talk about.
