No Explanation

Hi there,

This is my story.

I've gone 2 times now to review other people's sites so I can get my reviewed.

I'd submit my post for review & I'd go back to look b/c there were no responses & find out it wasn't approved.

The first time I had to find a moderator who pushed the post thru.

After the 2nd time I was a little pissed, as clearly it takes a while for me to review other people's sites & fair is fair. My time is precious to me.

So I found an e-mail address to one of the SP people & e-mailed him figuring the higher ups would want to know.

He asked me to PM one of the following moderators & I did, still no response back.

Then I e-mailed him saying no one responded back to me. He didn't respond back. I e-mailed a few days later. He asked me for my handle.

I gave it to him & he never got back to me. I e-mailed again & still not response.

What is going on here?

I don't do anything out of the norm, I post regularly, give biz to people on the site. I love SP, I think it's a great site, yet I'm left w/ this bad taste in my mouth of being constantly ignored & this isn't over the last few days, it's been a couple of weeks min. since I last posted my site for review & the time b4 that as well.

Any thoughts or explanations as to why no one will address this issue?

Hi Michelle,

Well that certainly is not a good situation!

Firstly sorry that you had had this issue and I will try to help get it resolved for you soonest.

I can say that the queue that the reviews goes into is moderated by us staff members (but in fact does general fall to the few ) which does mean that sites can take up to 72 hours to get approved as we are all very busy people, but not answering emails or PMs is not what we are about!

I will go and check out your review now and approve it if it matches the guideslines and in future please drop me a PM as I always answer them

I hope that your future dealings with SP are all good ones!!

Hi Sarah,

Oh t/y for getting back to me.

I figured it takes about 48 hrs. or so, but this was almost 2+ wks. ago.

My review should be within the guidelines, as it's nothing I haven't posted many times in the past

I need to make sure it's totally validated now & that the professional eyes tell me what I can't see

Yes, that is the thread & I don't think it ever submitted b/c no one ever reviewed it.

In the last few hrs. since you posted it, I already got 2 reviews.

I think it was there already Michelle, just too many people posted there and it pushed your thread to the next page where no one saw it unfortunately. In the future, I'd recommend subscribing to your thread so you will always be able to find it .

Hi Michelle - honestly it was there already as I searched and found it lol anyway when there are lots of reviews you can easily lose it to the next page which is what happened here - regardless looks like you are getting some reviews now which is all that matters!

Ok, but no one answered me when I asked about it.

I did try to look for it in my list, but couldn't find it, I guess b/c I post too much LOL

Michelle - no problem what so ever and yes I do answer ALL queries sent to me and most of the staff do!! but glitches happen and I am sorry that you are one of those!
