What was your thread about??
Sara

Maybe it was moved to another forum, was it related to computer hardware and SW?
Spats it was removed I will chase up the staff member who moved it to explain - but I think it was because its not really a computer issue but more an issue with another forum and therefore we don't that type of discussions as it can be inflammatory

I can understand that policy, Sarah, and I'm not complaining, but the thread was there for several weeks before being removed, and it wasn't inflammatory, at least not the last time I saw it.Originally Posted by Sarah
Don't you think such action should be communicated to thread participants, or at least to the person who started it? I still haven't had either a private message or email. Perhaps it would be a good idea to leave a place-holder where a removed thread was, saying something like "Thread blahblah removed as inappropriate."
(Ironically, the thread was about another site doing exactly what has just happened here -- removing posts and threads without notice or explanation.)
