    browser safe scripts

Im always wondering why are there standards being set but most likely the ones commonly used are not the standards?

Like for example, i did this drop down menu and it works perfectly for Internet Explorer, but when i view the page at Mozilla, it does not. Same is true i think for Opera and Netscape. At times there will be compatible scripts that will work for both explorer and mozilla but wont for netscape and opera, sometimes netsacpe and explorer teams up and opera and mozilla.

Anyway, anyone here knows where can i find a drop down script that will work for most browsers? better if anyone can suggest a editor or utility.

    Thanks guys in advance.

More than likely, your code/script was not following standards if it didn't work in Firefox. The problems with the standards are usually that IE doesn't follow them.
You want a dropdown menu? Did you try Suckerfish?
