I used to live over there, small world . You know 3 Aces Pizza? Used to be right across the street. Now I'm off Mass Ave by Austin Grill. It's a big improvement after living right on Mass Ave.

I've seen several folks here from New England - perhaps we could all get together one day

Did you guys miss Rasmus' talk up in Bedford about a month ago? NuSphere sponsored his visit (it was hosted at the NS/Progress HQ) and he gave a talk for the PHPNE Usergroup.

    I'm up for it!

I have to take the kids, my husband's shifts and his marshalling days into account, but I'd certainly make an effort to turn up to a meet if one was arranged.

Depending on how much people are able/willing to travel, we may have to arrange several - northern, southern, midlands and the like. For the time being anyway.

She goes from a warm climate to a warm climate to a Boston winter . At least last winter wasn't too bad as far as the temperature, lot of snow though.

In the winter, there's ice skating on the Frog Pond on Boston Common.

    Things I like about winter:

Skiing, skating, sitting in a coffee shop watching the snow fall, snowball fights

Things I don't like about winter:

shoveling snow, being cold, drivers who are totally clueless, slush.

Given enough notice, I would be willing to try and make an east coast meeting. It would have to be in the summer though. I am pretty sure I am allergic to cold weather. .

Actually I spent 9 days one January in Wisconsin. Was sick for three months after that. Not going back to a place where there is sustained snowfall.

We get snow where I live but only about an inch a year and it melts as soon as the sun rises. I just stay indoors for the twelve hours or so and drink coffee with irish cream or rum in it to keep me warm.

It definitely takes a certain insanity to live in Wisconsin in the winter. Our winters are mild by comparison.

You must have some of the Irish in you - Bailey's and coffee - my favorite drink of choice in the winter .
