Does SitePoint plan real-life meetings?

Yohoo, I just wanted to know if SP and all its community members have a meeting somewhere in the world. Have those meetings already taken place or did I just came up with a bright idea?

Members? No no, I don't think so. We've discussed this in the past, and who knows, one day it might happen, but it hasn't happened yet. As far as I know, a couple scattered members have met up, and a lot of the "official staff" members have met with each other: like Matt and Wayne Luke, for example.

I think that we could have a per-country meeting as Nicky suggested (or per-state in large countries like Australia or USA). That would be great and then we could all party and during the party we could organise an online event and we could have a countdown and everything.

We could have it on New Year's eve to take advantage of the free fireworks.

Just kidding about the New Year's eve part. But the rest sounds good.
