    Please Help, PHP4 code on PHP3 server problem

    Hi there,

    Iwonder if anybody can help me. I've developed a PHP script to work with flash and get stuff from a database. It works fine on my system but when I've uploaded it I get nothing.
    I think I've narrowed it down to the "if... elseif" bit because the first parts of the code work and output stuff.
    The server is running PHP 3.0.7 Is there any difference in the structure of conditional sections that I have overlooked.

    Please help

    TIA
    Slarti

    Do you use include(""); or require(""); or include_once(""); ?

    if you do I would recommend you to double check the file or directory location.

    Thanks but I've solved it

    Thanks for your sugestion but I've just found the problem.

    I was using the line:

    PHP Code:
    if (menu == true):
    and had sent the value "true" to it. I then changed it to
    PHP Code:
    if (menu == 1):
    and that worked, so I will use 1 for true and 0 for false.

    Cheers

    Slarti
