    PHP Virus

    I saw this a couple months ago. Just got it brought to my attention again. I was just wondering what you guys think.

    I think that there would be more danger for people that don't take measures to ensure that malicious code isn't posted in forms etc. Check out this post by freakysid

    It is just a concept and the possibelity is still there.

    But people would rather write the virus in c or VisualBasic and makes it executable instead of php. PHP needs its compiler to generate the code and if people doesn't have one than it would be nothing except a piece of plain text.

    I think this threat should be taken more seriusly for those freewebhosting that allow their user to execute php within their server.
