    go to selected row of a db results and....

    go to selected row of a db results that are sorted by id and read of rows x to y....

    ermmm this is 4 me news script and so can read off different sections of the news ependin' on which page of news your on by working out which pieces of news are on that page and then retrieving the data from me db...

    i assume i do a search on the whole table and then just go the results row where id = blah and loop throught this as many times as there are posts on the page but duunno how

    PS> usin' PHP + mySQL + i assume usin' the mySQL_data_seek might be useful as sets pointer in the array but not sure how it would be done

    If you only need to display those values you should look up using MySQL's LIMIT function. Kevin Yank Cover's it on his tutorial (under advanced SQL I think) on webmasterbase.com
