    Some help with my pop-up menu please!!

    I am working on a new site and want to use a pop-up menu for navigation. I built it in Fireworks/Dreamweaver.

    When you roll over the menu button, the pop-up comes up in the wrong place, way over to the left.

    See it in action:

    How can I fix this?

    Thanks!

    You have to change the coordinates where the popup appears. In the link you say:

    Code:
    onMouseOver="window.FW_showMenu window.fw_menu_0,100,10)
    I assume you will have to change the last part of it, 100 is the x-coordinat and 10 is the y-coordinat. Now, I am NOT a JAVAscript expert but by looking at it this seems logical.

    Hey, I had the exact same problem heavy. I don't know if you already fixed it, but here's what's wrong.

    It's a bug in the whole FW, DW thing. When you save the FW pop-ups as HTML, it sets the cordinates of the pop-ups depending on where it is in the FW document.

    So, I made a left navigation with pop-ups. The entire menu with pop-ups was located in the exact top-left of the FW document. But, when I pasted the HTML into the DW document, I had the menu down about 100 pixels in order to have a banner. Therefore, the pop-ups were showing up 100 pixels too high. Do you understand?

    Here's a thread with the exact same question:

    This is where I find how to fix it, at Macromedia's website:http://www.macromedia.com/support/fireworks/
    Go to "TechNote" number 15001. It's near the top of the page, under "Top 3 TechNotes"

    I'm sure this will all help. I know it's a pain in the ars, but you gotta do what you gotta do, right?
