I want it I want it I want it!

Did you all know about this piece of software for the Palm OS?

It is a small bundle that contains:

    - A fully functionl, full-featured HTML editor
    - An FTP application
    - A document reader (for documentation)
    - A web browser

This package allows you to code/edit a page and upload it wirelessly (if you have a cellphone) directly from your Palm or Visor. Talk about badA$$!

All for only $12.50. How many of you would use this if you had it?

i don't think it would be worth while unless you had one of those fold up keyboards to attach to the Palm

Oh Pleeze - I can just see you try to preview that page on your palm...

I don't think Palm is as great as everyone thinks... I had a Visor for a while, and now have an NEC MobilePro that I love so much more.

I've got a FULL featured FULL color HTML editor for my MobilePro (and it has a preview window)... it has the FTP utility too...

Did I forget to mention that I can see the page in 640 x 480?

    Mobile Pro...what's that?

As for having a special device, this is the setup that I have already.

    Handspring Visor Prism

    Stowaway Keyboard

Samsung SCH-3500 (with cable to connect to the Prism)

I was sitting in a restaurant the other day. I needed to find out what time an attraction here in Nashville closed. I plugged my phone into my Prism and withing 5 minues I had the information. Plus I impressed the HELL out of my friend.

    Whoops! I didn't see that *L*

I guess if you are in a jam and you just have to update your site in a hurry, then it might be worth it!

If you can code on your Palm, then you are truly a hard core coder . I am not worthy!!

I just bought an iPaq so I'm looking for something like this for CE.

Would be very useful for updating race results on my sites while at the track

I just couldn't get over the screen size - I'd go crazy trying to debug a javascript or nested tables!! AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! I'm going nuts just thinking about it! My mobilepro has a 640 x 240 full-color screen (it's kindof like a Jornada handheld with more oomph)

Your screen is not that much bigger than mine, you just may be able to preview in a higher resolution.

I didn't say that I would want to preview the pages all the
time, I don't really need to I'm sooooo good. lol

I just thought that the ABILITY to do that was awesome. The fact that I have the capability to code on my Prism while I'm on an airplane or in the car or in a restaurant.

    Can you imagine the waitress?

Her: What are you doin' Hun?
Me: Editing HTML website. I'm getting ready to upload in a second. Can I have some more Iced Tea please?
