    strange email

I got some strange emails this morning that appeared to have been sent to my host-server iocus.com. It was all in chinese but appeared to possibly be an HTML newsletter from chinaprogramer.com

I noticed the little script icon in the right hand corner of my Outlook 2000 viewpane so I didn't open it. I ran Nortons on it to make sure I was uninfected by a virus. Has anyone ever gotten anything like this. I am so curious as to whether that was a worm that it's killing me. How can I find out?

YOu might be able to safely save the attached file to your desktop, then open Windows Explorer and go to Tools > Folder Options > View and uncheck the box that says "Hide File Extensions for Known File Types".

This will allow you to see what sort of file it is. If it says .vbs then delete it immediately and go wash your hands.
