    bookmarklet problem

I've quickly coded some little javascript bookmarklet that opens a window, it looks like that:
    javascript:window.open( ...parameters... )

The problem is that in the main browser window a blank page loads with the words "[object Window]". I've tried adding history:go(-1) at the end of the javascript but this erases all the history that would have been after the main browser's page.

I think there's something to do with the "void" command but I don't know how to use that

    Anyone got a clue ?

OK I found out, I just had to enclose the command into void(), easy

But... it doesn't work in IE 6 (first preview), any reason why ?
