Anyone has a .info ranking good?

I was wondering if anyone had a website on a .info extension and its ranking good in the SE's ?

May be its just me but whenever I search for something, itís very rare that I have ever seen a .info in the results ... however if you think about registering a domain than most of the .infoís are also taken

I don't think search engines care what domain extension you use. What you are describing is probably just because large companies that are serious about getting a high search engine ranking are generally willing to go to great lengths to get an excellent domain name (usually a .com). Some companies buy a bunch of .info names as well, but then focus the majority of their SEO efforts on one central .com domain.

The domain extensions doesn't affect ranking. Jeremy is right about .com just being so popular that in terms of quantity and the effort made by the .com owners to rank well is just keeping the .info's down in the rankings.
