    Redirecting .htm to .php

    Hey All

What is the best way for redirecting a static html page with a 301 direct? Sorry if this is basic I have never had to do this with a static page.

I am not inclined to use a meta refresh.

    THank you for suggestions.

I guess doing it via .htaccess will be the best way!

301 redirect through .htaccess, as mentioned above, is your best bet.

No. You need Apache to use .htaccess files.

Code for Firefox, Chrome, Safari, & Opera, then add fixes for IE, not vice versa.

Many free webhosts use Apache servers.

    Google is your friend.
