Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect()

I'm getting the above error when I try to access a page on my server that uses MySQL. I think the problem is PHP is not configured to work with MySQL(I'm not quite sure how it got like this all of the sudden), but when I do the phpinfo function, MySQL is not listed on the page at all.

Yes, I do have root access to my server.

Any help anyone could provide would be much appreciated.

this is more a PHP question than a mysql question. move your thread to the PHP forum and post the bit of code that is giving you the problem.

    Hello.

    Maybe I can help you.

What version of php is installed?

What OS is the server running?

    What is your webserver software?
