horizonal navbar won't extend the width of container

I am having trouble with a 3 col layout that was coded by Paul O. The horizontal navbar will not extend into the right column at all. I used max design's lisamatic horizonal buttons made by Claire Campbell as the navbar.
The background and navigation will cover the left and middle column but will not extend into the right column at all. Code was copied correctly and checked several times. The right column extends all the way to the top under the header which is 165px high. This was checked on IE6 and Mozilla FF with the same results. Any suggestions?
    Thank You,
    Don Young

HELLER IMMIGRATION LAW FIRM

The Heller Immigration Law Group, LLP (Toll free: 1/800 863-4448), also known as 'HILG', specializes in obtaining visa, permanent resident, and citizenship status, i.e., green cards, work permits and/or other immigrant and non-immigrant visas on behalf of individual, as well as corporate, business, academic, scientific, governmental and non-profit clients.

With our headquarters in San Francisco, CA (and our new Silicon Valley location in Palo Alto, CA), HILG has successfully processed more than 1000 cases in all USCIS jurisdictions over the past few years, and many more over the 20+ years we have been in business.

We specialize in employment-based immigration: USDOL fast track 'labor certifications', filed under PERM regulations, EB1 priority worker cases, i.e., Multinational Executives/Managers, Extraordinary Aliens, and Outstanding Researchers, and EB2 self-petitioning National Interest Waiver (NIW) cases.

While Heller Immigration Law Group is expert in handling all aspects of employment-based and business immigration, we are also widely known as a law firm willing to take on, and who successfully tackle, not just the ordinary, but also the extraordinary situations that can arise. At HILG all our cases and clients are given continuous, full and individualized attention; communication, attention to detail, and client services are of the 'highest priority' and we bring years of experience to each and every matter.

On the non-immigrant side, most matters are efficiently filed by HILG within weeks, not months. Our clients have the option of having their non-immigrant visa petitions expeditiously adjudicated by USCIS under 'premium processing' guidelines. These include: H-1B, E-1/2, L-1A/B, O-1, Mexican/Canadian TN, P and many others. In addition to the above, we also handle: F-1 students, R-1 religious workers, J visas and 212e waivers, K & V visas, USCON visa denials/reversals, and many family-based cases such as immediate relatives, adjustment of status, dependant adjustments, K-1/3 and V visas. However, family cases are almost always taken on a referral basis only.

Besides having a myriad of corporate, business and HR clientele, HILG also likes to stress, and are proud to have, a very strong reputation for aggressively and successfully representing many employment-based 'individual' clients, including the "best and brightest" of foreign talent (many of whom do not need a 'sponsoring' employer).

CORPORATE, BUSINESS IMMIGRATION; NO CONFLICT OF INTEREST

On the corporate and business side, HILG makes it very clear that we feel our highest ethical duty is to the individual employee, or executive who is attempting to obtain permanent resident status or some other immigration benefit. In doing so, we see no conflict of interest with the 'corporate interest' of the employer. We feel strongly that all parties, including one's petitioning company, should be just as interested in efficiently, effective and successful legal representation as the employee him/herself.

As stated, HILG obtains work permits and/or green cards in the following areas: academia, the varied scientific and technical fields, and those involved in the various professions, i.e., in 'specialty' occupations including those working in: computer science, engineering, professors/post docs, investment banking, IT/MIS, bio-technology, science & medicine, the social sciences, physics, architecture, business administration, finance, accounting, and art and design, to mention just a few.

Often, non-professionals and technical personnel also seek help in stabilizing their immigration status. HILG will often handle these matters as well, even if the individual is 'out of status'.

HILG PROVIDES HIGHLY INDIVIDUALIZED ATTENTION TO EVERY CASE

Over the past 20+ years, Heller Immigration Law Group has represented clients from around the world and from every business sector and often take cases involving extremely unusual and/or complex 'out of the mold' issues. We are not, and never have been a 'processing mill' type of immigration law firm; HILG understands that USCIS looks at every case anew, and adjudicates that way. Rarely are facts, client, corporate strategies, or needs the same. Therefore, each and every case that comes through our law firm is treated on an individual basis.

Our philosophy is simple: we carefully choose our clients, both corporate and individual, not vice versa. When faced with great odds our experience tell us that "truth will prevail" at USCIS and even at the U.S. Consulates. Over the past 20+ years we have carefully built and nurtured our channels of communication with the various U.S. governmental agencies and personnel. This allows us access where others face the closed doors of bureaucracies. We are aggressive, but respected for our honesty and integrity not only by our clients, but the various relevant government agencies. With over 20 years of experience we have always maintained the highest reputation at USCIS, and as well as with our peers, who often seek our advice in complex immigration matters.

At HILG, our attorneys, and Mr. Heller himself, make it a point to be involved in each and every case - from concept, to strategy, to successful completion. With our reputation for excellence and attention to detail, HILG has accumulated numerous prestigious clients ranging from large multi-national corporations, private sector enterprises and Silicon Valley 'start-ups' to self--petitioning 'extraordinary' scientists, renowned academics, and governmental labs & institutions.
