    why it supported in mysql not in postgres

    Sir..

    I have searched a lot and i couldnt find a result...

    That is that i can get the last affected row inn mysql by php.

    But why i cant be able to search the same by postgres if possible give me a solution..

    no, not the last affected row -- in postgresql, you pull the next serial number before inserting the row
