    background image problem in CSS

    I've an annoying netscape problem, have set up this pseudo class:

    .tdbg {
    background-image: url('images/bg_042.jpg');
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-attachment: fixed;
    }

    which sends my netscape browser crazy blurring, repeating and totally unreadable!!

    When I remove - background-repeat: no-repeat; everything is fine?!

    Does anyone have any ideas please. Thanks

    The only problem is remove your single quotes around your url()

    Mac IE will not be able to read it.
    Could it be your html code?

    Thanks for your replies. I've done some research and it seems that NS 4.x (I'm using 4.6) doesn't do the background-repeat: no-repeat; style . Another bug.

    Oh well, that's NS for you.

    The word according to Eric Meyer's Master Compatibility Chart at http://www.webreview.com/style/css1/...stergrid.shtml ...

    Nav 4 does not support background-attachment: fixed, but does support background-repeat: no-repeat

    In my experience, I concur with that.
