file collection script

i'm on a search for a script that can archive a file collection in alphabetical order with descriptions, kinda like download.com but it doesn't have to that elegant.

what i'm looking for:
archive in alphanumeric order
descriptions
browser administartion (adding files and descriptions through the browser)
whats new listing
top 10 download listing

ii'm not afraid to hack the script to my approval but i haven't found anything close. maybe you guys can help.

I hate to be so blunt but i really dont think you are going to find such a script off-the-shelf!
I have just looked through HotScripts, ScriptSearch and the other major script indexes and cant find anything that fits the glove in this situation!
