And me! But it wasn't Mika's fault it was a gear box problem some part was assembled incorrectly. I feel that I have to include this quote from Ron Dennis just because I think the guy is awesome

At times like this itís important to remember that through thick and thin we are a team and we all make mistakes.

    Hakkinen is grandpa already.
Guys like Raikkonen, Button and Heidfeld will rule the F1 world.

I think Montyoa is going to bring some excitement back into F1, he always seems to drive right on the edge and that will make for some VERY good races now that williams are back in amongst the big boys.

    off topic, but....

If Montoya can mature just a little in his driving then he will have something special IMHO...
As for Mika stalling well thats motor racing ***** happens!

Next season Williams will have to be the team to watch, if they get reliability sorted then they have the pace and the skill in their drivers to go the distance.

    Yay for McLaren and Williams....

    I don't do drugs

OK - maybe that would have been funnier if the thread hadn't gone so far astray!

Poor old Mika. What a sh*te season he's having. Good to see Williams back in the game though.

I blieve that the original thread was referring to football players (soccer in the US slang). However it has since degraded to a raucous about F1 racing. Sigh...silly Brits, will you never learn that Nascar rules the planet?

By the way, why does it seem like so many F1 drivers are from Finland and Norway and places like that?

just a note...I think Nascar sucks...I was just trying to get your back up.

I've gone for Rivaldo, over Zidane, probably because of his performances aginst Man Utd. But I reckon it could only be one of those two. Figo in 3rd place.
Some players just inspire awe when they are on song (not Rigobert).

Nicky, I know just what you mean about the sound of the McLaren..........TV does NOT do it justice!!

Creole, I take it your not into motorsport of any kind then?! I love it all, me. But then I'm married to an out and out petrol-head so it's hardly surprising that some of it has rubbed off!

As to football, the only name I know is Ginola.....swoon!!!
