I have to document the existing databases which got lots of tables.
to get the columns in each table including the information in it from each table is tidious.
is there a way in sql that i can make use to convert the existing table schema into a word/html document??
    Happy Coding!!!

Hi, any CASE tool that supports so-called reverse engineering for your DBMS type (say, MySQL, MSSQL, etc. using db connection or from SQL script), and report generation into Word/html can do it. Check Showing UML for an Existing Schema thread for coupla links, also try Google using "CASE DBMS diagram database reverse engineering report html Word". Good luck
