    problem with touch() in safe mode

    PHP Code:
    if (!file_exists($dir))

    mkdir($dir0777);

    if(
    is_writeable($dir))
    {

    touch($filepath);

    chmod($filepath,0644);

    Warning: touch(): SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 22747 is not allowed to access /home/virtual/site54/fst/home/.../My Album owned by uid 48.

    Is there a way around this? The directory is created without flaw. However, I can't create a file.

    He already has the folder chmodded to 777.

    I don't think there is a way around it. Talk to your host.
