If you had $1000 to spend on Advertising where would you spend it?

If you had a grand to spend on advertising where you you spend it to get the most bang for your buck?

    Case in point...my site, einvesting.com

There is a popular radio show Bob Brinkers money talk and on his site he charges $35/cpm! This is a lot, but I should see some good quality traffic. (if anyone actually clicks).

On the other hand I could just keep doing Google, but I don't get much traffic unless I up the ante to 3 or more bucks a click and then the $ goes real quick.

Any other suggestions? Maybe advertise and a bunch of smaller financial sites?

When I think about it 1k really isn't that much in this arena. I have a unique website model and I want to get it out there.

    Thanks!

build some content and get the backlinks out. I would not consider Adwords for forums because ROI may come out to be negative. I may be wrong also but then its my opinion.

Being a games site, I would go to some of the bigger sites, Gamespot, IGN, Cubed3 and get us on the map.

    Hitch,

I would build the content, then pay for text links on related sites...pay for links footer links in forums. You need targeted visitors, not just anyone.

If you use Adwords right, it can really bring in nice traffic. Unfortunaly, google is tricky :P
But I would as all the other says make content, get backlinks and buy some related text links.
    Good luck!

yea, adwords and content. Also you might want to try to buy some text links.
How does that make your feel?
