    Fireworks transparency exporting HELP

    hi,
    I need to make a logo for a client before tonight and i'm having a problem. He told be to save it so as to have a background transparent, e.i it can be fit into as many background as you want. But when i use the transparency options in fireworks, it doesn't save the images with good quality, have a look http://areacool.com/bd.htm
    , see, there is some white space that irritates me, and should my client ,
    i don't also really understand the alpha, index, transparency.......

    Ps:By the way, please do ya know some good tutorials on designing (realistics,....) images with fireworks, i really need it, urgently ,

    Looks like some haloes round your images. The following are direct quotes from the fireworks help files:

    To prevent halos, make your canvas color match the background of the target Web page, anti-alias the object to the canvas, and then make the canvas transparent
    (this is for images created in Fireworks, or imported from Photoshop)

    or...

    Use Index Transparency and manually trim the halo colors using the Eyedropper buttons in the Optimize panel.

    Manually trimming the halos seems to be the best possible option now.
