    Lightbulb Css Poll - Coding

Me as a self taught, I only learned css for about 2-4 weeks, well I gave it up alot before. Every time I code css, it takes me 2-3 hours to build the real layout for my clients.

That's why I made the polls, for you whoever have experience css. How long does css take you to coding by hands?

Make templates you can re-use. 2-col's, 3col's, fixed, fluid etc. Makes it a whole lot quicker.

I agree with Egor. I reuse my stylesheets. It's much easier when you use the same classes for text and other elements from site to site. When you start to build the (X)HTML page it goes along much faster with just some tweaking for individual page elements.

lol - You'll have to give an example of what is to be coded. A 500 page ecommerce site would take about 3 months

This took me exactly 20 minutes from scratch by hand (including finding the picture) and not using any templates either.
