Internet Explorer and Windows Update Issues....

All righty, when I try to go to Windows Update, it gives me "Your organization has decided to provide software updates internally rather than through Windows Update. To download updates for your Windows computer, please see your network administrator," which of course is BS. Anyone know how to set something in IE or anything so the web site (or IE for that matter) doesn't think that this computer is part of a network, etc. I'd really like to be able to use Windows Update again. Thanks! =)

You can always download then at home and copy the files from the "Windows Update Setup Files" folder to a disk, but you know how net admins love when people bring in their own software.

You might need to get a CAB viewer to open some of the files(I think winACE can open them)
