If I'm maing $35.00 an hour, then how much is the recruiter making????

Hi,

I'm going on a job interview through a recruiter. I worked my way up to getting paid $35.00 an hour for this gig. After all, that is how much I was getting paid for my last contract job, even though I got the job on my own and not through a recruiter.

But if I am getting paid $35.00 an hour through a recruiter, than that means that the client is paying a nice chunck of change for my services.

Am I accepting too low a fee for my services? Should I ask for even more? I lack the confidence to ask for more at this point. I know that sounds pathetic!

What would you do?
