    Someone contacted me for signature advertisement

    Hi all

    not sure if this is the correct forum to post in, apologise if i am wrong.

    someone contacted me to sell my signature on one of the forum i am quite active in.

    However, i havenot reply to his message yet as i don know how much to charge.

    do you guys have any advice to share with me?

    Sounds like a great marketing technique but make sure they are a trustworthy company as a signature would be an endorsement of that company and people would presume that you are linked with them. If they start pissing people off then these people are likely to complain to you.

    I second that last notion. Many web forums have rules against signature advertising. I would charge montly around $10. It probably won't be noticed, but as you're active I an see that you might make a few easy, extra dollars.q

    what abt sp?

    does Sp allow sig ads?

    or what abt u? if you own a board, would you let ur users have ads?

    I would go higher and then lower my price. Don't expect to make a fortune. I wouldn't care if they advertised as long as I didn't offer the same things.

    Only accept them if you genuinely like their site and what they're offering. Try to get them to pay something like $0.10/post that you make (for example, $10 if you make and average of 100 posts/month).

    Somebody correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure that SP doesn't allow this practice.
