    Adsense Theoretical Banning

    Hey guys,

I was just wondering, if we really wanted to have someone banned, or if they wanted to have you out of Adsense, couldn't someone simply steal the code from the users and site and upload it to somewhere knowingly abusive? The code is usually open and easy to find on websites. This would make it appear that the webmaster is operating another site, justifying Google to cancel their account based on invalid clicks or whatever. This may be a loop hole.

What do you think? Will Google know whose right and whose wrong if code is simply taken and put up onto someone elses site?

Yes, it is a loophole - a definate flaw in the Google system. There are many ways to get another person's Adsense account disabled. When it comes down to it, there's nothing you (or Google) can really do. If someone is determined enough to get your account shut down, they will succeed. Even if Google finds out what is happening, and re-instates your account, the person can just do it again from another IP.

Google should really try to find some way to prevent this from happening, but it's really a very difficult problem to deal with. There is no obvious solution that comes to mind.

The only thing that you as a publisher can do is to avoid making enemies at all costs.

If you're a serious publisher that has been doing good for years, I don't think a simple abuse like this will get you kicked out.

If you have Urchin software on your server/site you can track them down easily and report it to google. i don't know how you can track down a person stealing your code and putting it on their website.
