I am using MsAccess and using an sql statement into database and find the error...

Operation must use an updateable query

unless this query is running in msaccess query analyzer with one warning that you can not undo the changes I am confused what is the prob;lem

If your query is to try and write to an access database --- you may need to check file permissions of the database and make sure you have write priviledges. hard to say if we don't know what your query is.

Hi its works now actually the folder is not given the write permission..
in which databse was ....
