I am sure an admin can take a look at the post IP and see if the user was a regular on the boards.

If you are using a computer that is shared with other people to post I would suggest logging out everytime you are done.

Can you post a link to the post that you did not make?

May be someone from your family your brother or something was browsing SPF with the same browser and with logged in and that wanted to answer someone's question and help him
Because I can't understand why someone will waste time to hack an account then use it to help other people ! if it was for spam may be but not in this way ?

I agree what would be the point of logging in as another user than just helping people, they could have just used thier own account, must be someone you know

Do you really think that she is capable of talking about slashes in PHP strings ??

Well what's even more interesting is the post count from your last post webnoob, and the post you linked to above. Both have 456 for your post count two days apart.

So I checked further to find that you posted yesterday in the PHP forum (your last post before this one), and guess what? Your post count was still at 456. In fact, your last three posts outside of this forum were not counted.

Sounds like there is a problem with your member account. Contacting Tom to make him aware of the situation.

KC, you either have a good memory, access to some tool normal members don't (or I'm unaware of), or you've made a funny mistake.

I haven't ruled out any of these possibilities.

    lol!

My memory is getting worse, used a tool everyone has access to (search), and I make mistakes all the time, so it's bound to be all three.

Kim, how were you able to check the number of posts he had three days ago? The post count changes across the board whenever a new post is made.

Exactly. That's my point. His post count isn't changing.

I just did a search for posts a week ago and newer. His last three posts were on 5/28/05 (two days ago). His post count remains at 456. If you look at the dates he posted in this thread (prior to two days ago), his post count is still at 456.

I think my post count might be broken too.

Look, here on my first post on Sitepoint my postcount is a little over 4000. Now look at my posts today. The same post count!
