What the devil have I done wrong here?
The drop down menus don't work in Netscape or Opera. (I test in Opera because it's supposed to be the most standards compliant, not 'cos anyone uses it...)

lol - sorry, can't help - I use mainly Opera at work (closely followed by NS6, then NS4.7)

Keep in mind that standards compliant and "works in this browser" are not the same.
I would recommend using a script that can develop your drop-down menu's for you. That way you can be assured that they will be properly cross-browser comptaible. www.dhtmllab.com is a great free resource for this sort of thing. YOu can almost infinitely customize your menu as well.

my dhtml menus don't work in netscape 6 or opera either. i think there is a problem getting them to work in those browsers. the new version of the hiermenus (dhtml.com) *may* fix this problem, but i haven't upgraded to it yet to find out.

had a look at Hiermenus (thanks guys) but I can't work out if I can do horizontal ones.
